Scripture: Hebrews 3:1-19
There are many warnings in the Bible directed to Christians. We find the Hebrew writer telling Christians that God brought his people, the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. But because of their grumblings, and turning away from God, very few of the original Israelites entered the promise land.
Christians today are still in the wilderness and can fall away. We have not gone to the promise land (ie. heaven), yet. Hebrews chapter 3 gives Christians a warning that we must not turn away, lest we fall away. We must be faithful to the end. We must encourage one another, hold firmly and hold fast.
Last year a study showed that 73% of Americans say they are Christians, yet one third attended a worship service once a month. A Christian can fall away and not enter heaven. Brother Bob Huron is going through the book of Hebrews. Today’s message comes from Hebrews chapter 3. Please click the link below to here the audio sermon.
