Every year we have Vacation Bible School for the local children. This year VBS will be June 12th through 16th from 6pm to 8:15. Sign up now. We are going to learn all about Jesus. Don’t miss out. It will be a great time to learn.
The congregation has decided to have a mission trip in the surrounding Guyandotte community from July 23rd to 27th. We want the community to see Christ through us as we work with people in need. FOOD PANTRY The congregation keeps a good supply of food items to distribute as needed. If you are in need of food, please call the church phone number and leave a message.
We offer every Sunday a service for the young children. They sing songs, pray, have communion, take up an offering and have a Bible lesson. It is a very good program to teach our children how to worship and be apart of a church body.
The church provides a nice dinner for the local community the last Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm. If you live locally, come by for a hot meal. There is a short devotion and prayer before we begin serving food. We usually serve between 70 to 100 people.
On Wednesday nights, the church offers a bible program called Christian Youth Fellowship. CYF is for ages PreK to 12th grade and is from 6:30 to 8:00. The children are fed a small meal, they have play time and a message from God’s Word. Plan to attend.
The church collects toys before Christmas and sets up a Santa Workshop in the gym. The workshop is for local parents to come and pick out toys for their children so they can have presents under the tree. There is no cost to the parent. If you would like to help, see Jana Huron.
