Scripture: Mark 8:27-9:1
Jesus asked his disciples a very important question. “Who do you say I am?” Jesus had just performed many miracles and Jesus was preaching that the Kingdom of God was near. Jesus was preaching the good news about himself. And we have to ask ourselves the same question. Who do we say Jesus is? The answer is found in Jesus’s teachings.
He is the Messiah. Jesus suffered, was rejected, killed on a cross and arose three days later. For us to be a child of God and be apart of God’s Kingdom, we must deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Jesus. Minister Bob Huron does an excellent job in explaining the Word found in the gospel of Mark. Please click the link below to here the audio sermon.
